What is cPanel/WHM?
cPanel® and WHM™(WebHost Manager) is the web hosting control panel system for the next generation. Both cPanel & WHM are extremely feature-rich and include an easy to use web-based GUI (Graphical User Interface).

What is Ruby on Rails?
Ruby on Rails is a web framework that is optimized for programmer happiness and sustainable productivity. Rails is a full-stack framework for developing database-backed web applications according to the Model-View-Control pattern. Rails gives you a pure-Ruby development environment. To go live, all you need to add is a database and a web server.
For development and testing, the lightweight WEBrick web server included with Ruby is often used as the application server. For production use, Apache or Lighttpd with FastCGI are recommended, but any web server with CGI or FastCGI support will work. On Apache, mod_ruby can help to increase performance considerably, although its use is frequently discouraged because it is unsafe to share multiple RoR applications on Apache.
